Hythe has been designed to maximise the panoramic views of the waterfront and Liverpool skyline, emphasising the sense of calm and openness. The building is surrounded by the brand-new streetscape on Tower Road, which focuses on sustainability and wellbeing. The area is designed for active travel and is home to many trees, with more to be planted as the neighbourhood continues to grow over the coming years.

CWC are acting as technical advisor to the client and working on the detailed design for the MEP services CAT A fit-out including producing the Revit MEP model, EPC and daylight modelling.

The BREEAM Excellent rating is vital to Peel’s aspirations for Wirral Waters to be one of the most sustainable regeneration projects in the UK. Hythe features low energy design technologies such as VRF heat pumps, demand control ventilation, low energy PV panels and electric car charging points. There are also excellent cycle facilities, supporting the development’s emphasis on active travel. A major focus of the project and CWC’s role is around MEP services commissioning and seasonal commissioning, to ensure the low energy aspirational targets of the building are realised.

The result is a flexible and sustainable workplace at the heart of a rapidly growing neighbourhood.
