Office fit-out for a high profile government department in Manchester City Centre.
CWC were commissioned to produce the design and specification of the mechanical and electrical design services, then retained by the client to monitor the installation.

The broken plan layout features a range of workspaces separated by different design elements and complimented by feature lighting.
The project posed unique challenges as the office required additional power over and above those of a typical workspace. The whole electrical infrastructure was redesigned to meet these needs and provide resilience though a backup power supply.
A new ventilation system was also required as the building’s original natural ventilation strategy was inadequate for the client’s needs. An innovative new mechanical ventilation system was designed and retrofitted to maintain a comfortable working environment.
The result is an inspiring office layout perfectly suited to the client’s needs, and today’s modern work practices.
