60 Evans Road is a modern industrial unit in Speke, Liverpool. Originally a trade counter and a bathroom showroom, two separate units had already been converted into a single space, which required further refurbishment to meet the needs of the client.

ChargePoint Technology specialise in pharmaceutical containment and aseptic processing, so a significant aspect of the redevelopment was the addition of cleanroom facilities, designed to meet stringent cleanliness and environmental control standards. The existing office and ancillary areas were also reconfigured to create additional office and storage space. Work was carried out in two phases to allow the warehouse to be used for storage whilst the office reconfiguration and fit-out was carried out.
Crookes Walker were appointed to carry out the Stage 4 detailed design, starting with a thorough survey of the existing M&E services, including assessments of the HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems. The design included complete removal of the existing gas heating serving the office areas and replacing with an all electric system. CWC also monitored the installation and witnessing of all M&E systems, with the works completed and handed over in June 2024.
The redevelopment has created a modern warehouse facility suitable for the client’s specific operational needs, providing advanced office, storage, and cleanroom capabilities within the upgraded facility.
