The Challenge
Converting former office spaces into teaching facilities, and in Manchester, the additional challenge of the site being in the basement of a listed building, the refurbished New Century Hall.
The Solution
Crookes Walker worked closely with the provider for specialist music and digital arts spaces to develop servicing solutions for recording studios and production suites. Acoustic considerations, such as minimising cross talk to achieve the required sound levels, were essential.
The Outcome
Flexible and functional learning spaces with cutting edge facilities provide the perfect environment to kick start careers in the creative industries.
