Students arriving at university will be greeted by their own work, illuminated four storeys high on the side of a brand-new building. The year is 2021 and the this is SODA, an iconic building for Manchester’s future.

Sitting at the heart of the Manchester Metropolitan University complex, the new School of Digital Art (SODA) Building will support the growing demand for skilled workers in the region’s creative and digital industries. Offering a range of flexible courses developed with industry partners, SODA will produce over 1000 graduates annually to meet this need.
The school will house state of the art facilities including a digital innovation lab, green screens, edit suites, screening space, a media gallery and production studios.
